Progress on CD #2:
We regretfully inform you
all that due to many things including his
new CD, Snake Farm, coming out on June 27th,
Ray Wylie Hubbard won’t be producing our
second CD. Never fear because we are still
going to be putting out a CD that will blow
you away! Needless to say, our release date
won’t be in the Summer of 2006 though…look
for it after the first of the year.
BIG SUMMER 2006:
We have tons of shows this
summer so we expect to see everyone at least
10 or 12 times. The schedule is updated
almost daily, so check here and/or on our
MySpace page (www.myspace.com/texasrenegadeband)
regularly.
Camp Ben Reunion:
Bust out the confederate
flags & Jim Beam and join us at Camp Ben on
Friday June 16th.
This year marks the 110th
Annual Reunion to be held at Camp Ben
McCulloch, United Confederate Veterans,
which has been held annually without a break
since that time. We betcha they’ve never
seen anything like the party we’re gonna
have out there for our Street Dance! Come
early and kick it with us before the show.
We’ve also heard rumor of a carnival out
there, too!!
NEW PICTURES
We are going to do a
better job of updating the pictures here, so
keep checking back!!
2oo5 was a big year for TXR’s first single
3am,
title track and first single from the debut
CD
3am, did very well for Texas
Renegade. It peaked at #31 on the Texas
Music Chart, was #92 on the Texas Regional
Radio Report’s Top 100 songs of 2005 and the
#10 most requested song on Radio Free Texas
(www.radiofreetexas.org)!
Good
Day to Start and
Way I Am
were also in RFT’s top 100 most requested
songs at numbers 43 and 46.
2nd CD in the planning stages
Texas
Renegade will be going into the studio in
February (keeping our fingers crossed for
February) to begin recording our second CD.
As of know, Ray Wylie Hubbard is set to
produce CD #2. Tentatively (read as
hopeful) release of this effort will be
Summer 2006!
